  • Figuring out how to do this took a while... I was playing around with wedges to support, but came up with this method instead.
  • Yeah, only tiles, about 700 of them. I liked how the edges fall off a bit more than using plates.

    As much as I don't quite like the new Musketeers film, this scene is pretty smashing and bursting with clever techniques everywhere. I think the tiles on the floor is my favorite piece.

    Thanks everyone for the compliments. This one took a while. There are around 700 1x2 tiles in the floor which is a recessed area for them to lay on edge. What you can't see out the back is that they are running up a ramp that is also done with this same method.

    Some of the harder parts were getting the flights of stairs to properly line up with each other, and then the stairs to line up with the arch area as the stairs are built horizontally, and the arch is the transition area back to vertical.
