Swimmers 4

I cut my photographic teeth on 35mm reportage and photographing scenes such as this gave me a lot of pleasure.

I hadn't used my 35mm camera in ages until last weekend when I took some informal shots at a wedding and I realised how liberating it can be to use a pentax.

Anyway, there was a swimming race on our local beach quite a few years ago and I wanted to get close to the action at the start,,,so I waded into the water behind the start line which was about chin high.

Silly thing to do really but my camera stayed dry, thankfully.

The race was a handicap which explains why this swimmer dived off before the others.
