Between Newcastle and Gateshead at dusk
This was shot from the Millennium Bridge during my recent trip to the north-east. Quite a chilly, but calm and still evening.
This is the famous and well shot view straight up the Tyne with lots of pretty reflections from the city lights. To the left is the Sage centre of performing arts - a cracking modern building that looks like a sort of strange metallic caterpillar.
Right in the centre is the famous Tyne bridge, proudly emblazoned on every bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale.
