when the inner harbour froze in copenhagen, we had to return to the scene of the crime, so to speak, and see vandkunsten's teglværkshavnen housing from the ice.
people were taking walks across the water and by one of the blocks, a resident had made a hole in the ice for winter bathing. the idea of changing the relationship to the water from a passive one of looking at it to an active one of using it seems to hold true even in deep winter...
