My Fun Elevator Story

The story makes the shot......

So the regular elevator is closed for maintenance, and they have us all stuffed into a freight elevator to go up to the 103rd floor of the tower. My claustrophobia is starting to kick in despite the ride being under a minute... (yes these are some of the fastest elevators in the world!)

I look up and notice the ceiling is semi reflective, so I point my camera up and real loud say...

and they did! I went snap.. and laughed and said 'thank you very much' and this is the shot I ended up with.

Ya gotta admit, that's a true candid shot for sure...... Not my best shot of the day, but definitely my favorite... still can't believe everyone (except the operator who had to watch the panel) but everyone actually looked up!!

Good picture - great story. I am not necessarily claustrophobic but elevators bother me. I dream about them going off in strange directions to unknown places. I will have this shot in mind next time I get on one.
