I agree your devotion to sewing is amazing and dare I say thought provoking. I would love to share your tattoo with my small part of the world by blogging this image on my site...you might have started a trend!

      Hello,

      This is awesome.

I used your lovely tattoo to illustrate one of my blog posts in which I talk about my own relationship with my sewing machine and I've credited your work.

      Thank you :)

What age do you u all think is OK to get a tattoo?

    11. cheves 44 months ago | reply

whenever your parents think it's okay, i would say. i didn't get my first one till i was 46! not to say you have to wait that long, but i would say 18 if it were my kids.

I don't know janekiwi, I got mine at 40! That seemed about right.

I think 40 - 46 sounds like a good age, my 17 year old daughter is very keen to get a tattoo, I would like her to wait awhile. In a mad loop of connection I am thinking of bribing/persuading her out it by getting her a sewing machine! well an overlocker.
Love your tattoo and your designs Secret Lentil.

So, I just got my mom's old Belvedere Adler Sewing Machine and I was Googling it to try and find out how old it is, and I saw your (awesome) tat. Mine looks just like that, it's a model 330-0. Do you have that model? Do you know how old it is? I am frustrated, I can't find it anywhere. Thanks. Great idea for a tattoo!

      Thanks!
Yes I own it - I don't see a model number on mine but it's a great machine.
