September desktop - Assassin's Creed theme

    Newer Older

So I just had to try out the new Developer Preview for Windows 8 but it still runs so unstably that I decided to reinstall Windows 7 instead which meant that I had to reconfigure my desktop once again, how unfortunate
The recent PS3 beta test for Assassin's Creed: Revelations has placed me in an assassin mood and thus I chose the Everything is Permitted wallpaper created by ~abdelrahman (Wallpaper pack: )
I use the ecqlipse icon pack by ~chrfb ( )
And for the Rainmeter skin I simply use Omnimo (

rubenmedios and anquex added this photo to their favorites.

Oh it's not Omnimo, it's just RocketDock ;)

How did you managed to get that blurry thing on the whole screen?

    4. sebastian.holm 42 months ago | reply

That's just the wallpaper - if you follow the link in the description you'll find the wallpaper pack with varying resolutions of the picture, it's designed to be all blurry, though there is some text that the tiles on the left are blocking. They are not blurred and spell "Everything is permitted" but I blocked them because I only wanted the blurry look :)

When I apply the skin there's a layer of some sort that I can move along the screen.i can set the transparency of this thing / position...

Yeah, the transparent background makes it easier to read text items on the screen if you have a bright-colored wallpaper - it's on my desktop too, the original picture is a little brighter but I set the transparency of the background skin to around 30 or 40 to reduce the blackening :)

I use the "Ecqlipse" pack (don't know why there's a 'q' in it) as mentioned in the description :)
You'll find the package at ;)

      Hi, amazing desktop.

How did you link the Google Calendar to the omnimo panel google calendar ?

    10. sebastian.holm 42 months ago | reply

Thanks ^_^ All you have to do to link it is go to your Google Calendar and in the left panel with the calendar you want to sync (In my case it's the only one, the one with my name) and to the right of the name there will be a small downwards pointing arrow. Press it and then the "Settings for calendar" (or something, Google is for some reason in Danish for me -_-' ) and on the following page there will be two options with XML links. You will want to take the Private option since the other one makes your calendar public to people with the link. Then when you have your own personal RSS link all you have to do is paste the address in the Omnimo panel's settings tab :)

I hope you get it to work, it's very handy when using an Android phone ;) If you don't then feel free to ask again :)
