Olstind across Sakrisoya

Another shot of one of Lofoten's most iconic mountains. That lagoon in the foreground is actually part of the Norwegian Sea, albeit a sheltered part and wonderfully tranquil when I was there.

 

I've uploaded this in 'support' of my second blog item on the debate between saturating and desaturating colours in images. This is slightly desaturated as I thought it brought out the shapes of the mountains better than the brighter version, where the black and white of the background couldn't compete with the originally very rich, foreground colours.
