    Tip: When you're staying abroad for a longer period of time, bring a cheap power strip. At your destination, ask an electrician to replace the plug on it with a local one.

    Even better tip: Bring one power strip and one universal power adapter and then you are set no matter where you go, the second you get off the plane.
