a black eye (333/365)

Newer Older

he came to my house asking for my little brother, I told him that he was not home and I closed the front door and sat back onto my couch to return to my book

I ran outside screaming "heeeeey!" to him until he heard me and then took three pictures, this isn't focused very well

I don't know who he is, or what happened to him

But I love this.

"It's a lie. It's a bunch of sad strangers photographed beautifully, and... all the glittering assholes who appreciate art say it's beautiful 'cause that's what they wanna see. But the people in the photos are sad, and alone... But the pictures make the world seem beautiful, so... the exhibition is reassuring which makes it a lie, and everyone loves a big fat lie."--from Closer

that's so interesting.... good idea capturing that. I like it black and white...it has a mood to it.... and i love the blurred background.

i know how it is to be in such a hurry to take a picture before the person gets tired of waiting.
