The Little Foxes

There always has to be one that sticks his tongue out when you take the picture!

Three fox kits on San Juan Island, Washington state. They live wild on the meadows. That is a rabbit fence behind them, not a cage.

Beautiful collection of colors! The brown one looks too dark to be an amber. I'd say Fromm brown. It's definitely a mutation color and probably has an ancestor that was bred for the color of its fur.

      Hello

My fiancee and I are launching a new wildlife website where we are hoping to educate children about all differnet species and subspecies. We are also covering mutations and hybrids, extinct species and animal cruelty. We want people to understand that animals have a right to survive alongside us, and to bring the horrors of such things as poaching and the medicine markets into view of people who would otherwise take no notice. We hope that with our site people may take a more positive approach which will hopefully lead to the survival of some of our most precious and vulnerable species. We are a non-profit website (which will be launched in January 2010) and may only have a donations area for people who wish to help us build the site to cover as many animals as possible and get the message out there.

I am writing to you to request permission to use this photo on the relevant animal page of our site. I would of course acknowledge yourself as the owner of the image. If you wish to help please email me with permission and a copy of the photo.
Any help would be appreciated, Thank you
