September 22, 2006 - anne was back in nyc for the weekend, and wanted to go to the festival. she met up with rob and i after work and we headed over to little italy. it was just another excuse to eat junk food for dinner. i ended up getting my annual fix of melt in my mouth zeppoles and a mini cannoli. oh man, those are good!

I had these in Romania... they are AMAZING! They taste kind of like a funnel cake/elephant ear, but better, without so much grease because they are baked instead of fried

These are just sooo tasty. I am in the process of buying an oven to make and sell these. I cannot wait to get it. If anyone else is looking to buy an oven I can suggest a Matjaz. Web site is: www.kurtos-kalacs.com Would love to know how you all get on.
