1961 Ferrari 250 GT Comp. / 61 SWB Berlinetta S/N 2689

This utterly amazing Ferrari 250 SWB racer is one of several automobiles shown at

Portland Art Museum as a part of the Allure of the Automobile exhibit.


The ultra-light racer was one of the most successful SWBs, It won the GT class and finished third overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1961. Officially known as Comp. / 61 (also popularly called SEFAC hot rod) represented the most advanced Ferraris before the legendary 250 GTO was introduced.
