my fiance bought all of these hot sauces last night... think he's got enough now?

strobist: vivitar flash at right and back 30deg, bounceback umbrella, 1/4 power and maybe 5ft away, with reflector at left. unfortunately i'd left my iso at 1600 (i always forget to check that), but good enough for the web, i guess. are the highlights too hot?

Given the subject matter, hot highlights can be excused!
I always leave my ISO on something silly when I don't mean to as well. I'm hoping it'll be fixed with practice. (Canon need to include the ISO in the eye-piece info).

      Good focus.

;) hehe, thanks! agreed, it would be unbelievably helpful if they made the iso more visible/accessible... i guess it's still a holdover from the film way of thinking about it.

I hope your fiance uses them one at a time.
Saw your name in the Professional Food Photography discussion on photographing soup. I just had to respond.

hm, i wouldn't really know... i generally stick to the mild stuff ;) but i think he probably just emptied the shelf at our local grocery store.
