El Camino(s) and a School Bus

The intact El Camino is a 1974, and the one on top of it is too. The front end sitting on the ground is a 1973, and almost looks like a SS model...The paint job on these is shiny still, for sitting in a field for however long.

    Absolutely amazing.

    Great shot.

Maybe he was planning ahead for a couple of front-end collisions.

He needs to get started with the restoration project.

You say that both sitting on each other are '74s, but they have different grilles...

The front on the intact one has a Laguna type facia. I don't know if the El Camino with that front end would be called a Laguna El Camino or SS El Camino.

The Laguna S-3 package was not available on the 74 EL but was on the Chevelle. This nose on the intact one may indicate an SS or SP EL Camino or either someone put a Laguna grille and stuff on it. Trivial info, I know..but a very nice shot by RE. :)

From what I can gather, the intact one looks like some special addition 74 model....probably the Laguna...

1 on top may be a malibu classic front

They don't look so bad! :)

It looks like a classic case of automultiplicity. The poor old car is trying to reproduce itself before it rusts away completely...just hasn't got it quite right yet.

Great photo. Amazing that he was able to find two more RED front clips, considering how brown seems to have been most popular at that time.
