Home Rule for Scotland Pound Note, 1991
Accession Number: spa.2990
This Royal Bank of Scotland one pound note has been stamped with the words 'Home Rule for Scotland'. The note itself was issued on 24th July 1991.
The rubber stamp produced by the Scottish National Congress for stamping banknotes. The Scottish National Congress was disbanded in the 1960s so it is surprising that the stamp was still being used in the early 1990s
