Our rainy season ended today with quite a bang. Over the weekend Tucson had over 150,000 lightning strikes. Several inches of rain and nice cool temps. They say tonight was our last of the monsoon rains. Considering it is a rather strong La Nina year we may not get any significant rains for six months or so. This was taken on Mount Lemmon approx 8200 feet above sea level.
In January I am taking the big plunge and will be visiting a friend in Fairbanks AK. Always wanted to experience the northern lights even if i freeze to death. hehe
