What's wrong with this trivia question?

    Aren't they ooooo's, not 000000's?

I think there are a hell of a lot more than 1000 zeros in a googleplex.
So my answer is that neither A, B or C are correct.

The term they are asking about in the trivia question contains one hundred zeroes. Therefore the answer would be c). However, they have misspelled the word: googol is a mathematical term; Google is the name of an internet company. This is the second time in the last week I have heard this error. The other instance was--if you can believe it--on NPR.

Also a googolplex is a number that contains a googol of zeros. Which, incidentally, would be impossible to write as it would take more space than the known universe contains.

So there is a googol which you say has a hundred 0s and a googolplex which has :O many zeros. I see. I know some stuff but I'm clearly no mathematition. I'm not much of a speller either so it evens out.
