Exit 3 on the FDR
The Triton flew well this day and handily lifted the G9 out of the small amphitheater in East River park. Winds were annoying and carried the camera from the river to FDR drive and back again every 5 minutes or so. Two or three times the changes were abrupt enough to turn the Triton upside down and send it diving toward the river. Letting out line would help it recover, but it worked best after the flying angle lowered to about 45°. This diving behavior is very strange for the Triton. For now I blame ill wind.
In the foreground we see a south east portion of the lower east side. Up and to the left, the Brooklyn bridge hides behind the Manhattan Bridge.
