Gates says that Adinkras turn algebra into a 'game' that can be described like a game of Cats Cradle or a Rubik's Cube. Discovering relations within or between sets of equations via an Adinkra picture is a lot simpler than working through the algebra. Above, a quirky relationship within the top Adinkra is expressed with the pink lines in the bottom image. It turns out that one side of the Adinkra is the inverted mirror image of the other.
