A view from the sand dunes of Crissy Field towards Marin Headlands–all national park areas surrouding the Golden Gate–with the North Tower sticking out of the fog.

 

Native shrubs such as Beach Yarrow and Purple Lupins are reclaiming the dune system, waiting for the water from fog drip or rain to soak up humidity.
