    I've been enjoying shooting and learning more about a growing Ivy Bee (Colletes hederae) colony that has appeared in our steep, sandy soiled, lawn in the last few weeks. They're completely not fussed by my presence, even when I'm lying in the grass sticking a macro lens into the middle of their frenzied searching and mating behaviour.
