Work Space, circa 2009 - The Serene Workspace

Newer Older

Welcome to my current workspace Circa June 2009 -

Obviously this is the place where I spend most of my time. While it may seem a bit much. I utilize every bit of it...and then some. While it may also look expensive, I can assure you it's been frugally cobbled together over many years.

I'm still looking for the perfect chair, does anyone have any ideas?

Once I'm done with the final work space I'll post "behind the scenes" pictures.

This may seem silly, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding a desk similar to the one you are using and you don't have a caption for it :( Can you tell us what that desk is? Who makes it? What's the common term for that type of desk? Amazing setup. I'm very envious.

@Sinjen - I found the desk at a Bethesda Maryland based furniture shop called, "Scan Furniture" which specialized in Scandinavian Furniture. They've been out of business for a few years now.

The desk measures 72"wide x30" deep. and sits atop 4 powder grey tubulular legs with wheels.

The closest I've seen to it lately is the "Offi d2 pocket desk" .
www.allmodernfurniture.com/Desks-C9478.html?refid=G1379.m... - Mine however doesn't have the lower pocket (drawer). Sometimes I miss that.

I've been told iKea has some desks like it but I've not checked their site.

    Hope this helps.
