Two Medicine, Glacier National Park, MT
The very mention of the word conjures up endless vistas of granite monoliths soaring towards the sky, hiding within it valleys that nestle glistening lakes or white glaciers that slowly snake their way down.
Were it not for this simple attraction towards mountians, not unlike the attraction of moths toward light, I wouldn't have endeavored to carry my camera and trudge up hiking trails and steep climbs. But I do, because I want to capture what I see in my mind's eye, and because I want to share with the rest of the world the joy of "being on top", literally.
One of the best places to get such sky high views in this country is undoubtedly Glacier National Park. Where every trail promises bountiful vistas and where every turn promises a new surprise.
Here is one such view from Mt Henry near Upper Two Medicine Lake, providing a gorgeous view of the Two medicine Valley and the surrounding mountains!. And I realized that there is just so many more miles of hiking still remaining in this park!
