Beach Quilts

I made these batik striped quilts with thick beach towel backs and no batting. The terry cloth on the back is good for drying off and the quilting makes them extra warm. They should work great for an evening on the beach or a windy boat ride!

Fantastic idea! Reminds me of a beach towel quilt I saw in an old 70's quilting book, only yours are much prettier!

Thank you all for the nice comments!
MimiPark, I grew up in the 70's and we had beach towels that were very similar - except ours alternated red and blue between the white stripes! Those were my inspiration for these quilts!
