slanted light, rumpled sheets
we got wireless internet set up at gramp's house, so that makes it easier to catch up on schoolwork that i'm missing. but mostly i've been taking lots of pictures throughout the house, film and digital, trying to capture it the way that it is in all of its different lights and moods. this time next year it will probably be sold to a business and a burger king or something else equally sacrilegious will take the place of a 200 year old gem (his is one of two remaining homes on the street, the rest have been bought out and turned into restaurants, a strip mall, etc)...but i try not to think about that for too long. i'd rather chase light around the house with my camera, while i can.
thank you all for your concern and kind, kind words. i appreciate them more than you know. gramps was moved from the hospital to a nursing home, and he is in good spirits, & still as alert and sharp as ever.
