Sunnie, Puppy and wanna be Lassie... our Cat Jasper.
We didn't pose the cat, really. I didn't pose Sunny either. They were all sitting on the couch just looking at me. This cat is very protective of the kids. He found us at the Shelter. We were walking by his cage on our way out and he started tapping on the window. Really. We took him to a room to meet him and he jumped on each of our laps and rubbed on our legs. We were his. The paramedics came to the house one time for Jesse (his favorite of the kids) and this cat is usually scarce when people are around. Well, not when Jesse's involved. He layed on top of Jesse and wouldn't budge. ... He plays with the kids. Really. He's silly. They put him in doll strollers and baskets and he stays. He lays down every night with Jesse until Jesse falls asleep. I tell him to "get Josh" just like if the cat were a dog... he runs up the stairs, passes Josh and lays across the stairs so Josh won't pass. Then he pretends he's walking downstairs and when Josh starts up the stairs again, he bounds after him. He sits and waits for his food and won't eat until you give him permission. I've had cats all my life. NEVER like this one. We love him so!!!!
