2023/December - Pain - Emily F. Peters

Emily F. Peters is the founder and CEO of brand strategy studio Uncommon Bold and author of the 2023 best-selling book Artists Remaking Medicine.

In 2016, she survived a near-fatal amniotic fluid embolism in childbirth and became an advocate for blood donation. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, daughter, and pink poodle, Benny.

She spoke on the theme of PAIN, chosen by our Lviv chapter and illustrated by Marta Koshulinska.

Emily shared her personal story of pain, and how she transformed this pain into action.
