I didn't have time to post my photos of our Ranch party today but my pal Sean took this great one of me as a tacky 70's secretary. Started out as a Mad Men homage but ended up tackier and tackier as I was rebelling against Sexy Halloween Syndrome :)
    More photos tomorrow!!

And you gave it a good try, but I hate to be the one to break it to you: You failed.

Unbelievable! And yes, I hear you on the rebelling against SHS!

My friend told me recently - "You know, I love you because you always try to go for the really unattractive costumes." And I thought - It's Halloween. The whole point is to be ridiculous!

This year I was a silent movie, but I looked pretty much undead, which was awesome.
The year before I was a Russian car dealer (mustache, gold toof and sleazy polyester)
The year before I was Little Dead Riding hood, with a big ghastly wound on her neck.

      I salute you, unsexy Halloweeners!

Yeah, I tried to be unsexy, too. But it didn't work.

Excellent!! It doesn't seem that tacky for the 70s; it seems spot on. (And thank you for rebelling against the SHS.)

Wonderful!! Best Halloween for your dad and me was when he wore a one-piece red pull-up jammie, and I wore a sexy, short, white nurse costume and chased him around with a syringe. Oh, dear, maybe that was too much info. . .
