Oak House - Activities on site
Oak House was built in the 1620s and 1630s with additions being made such as the brick extension, chimney stacks, posh staircase, belvedere (tower) and old barn being made in the 1650s and the fortunes and status of the family grew. The grounsd are planted with 1600s plants and there is a fantastic visitor centre in the Old Barns and a playground at the rear.

There is a lively programme of events and activities throughout the year and a programme for school and community groups.
