Foldable Fractal 2.0
foldable fractal is a project originaly created during the Generator.x 2.0:
Beyond the screen workshop hold by Marius Watz, in Berlin in 2007.
The piece was generated using a recursive algorythm based on a lindermayer
system .The software vvvv was use to generate the cutting path. The piece is
based on a recursion of pentagon shape forming after folding a Pentagonal
The piece was created using the ability of the laser to half cut a material and
so to help to fold material , this is use in this piece to simplify and
accelerate the process of fabrication.
