Samsung, Betting High on 3D Smart Markets in the Middle East

In a bid to become the smart market leader in the Middle East, Samsung Electronics goes all-out for 3D Smart TV. With the message “Smart TV = Samsung,” Samsung will strengthen its cooperation with local contents providers and engage in active marketing campaign to launch its new products. Samsung’s goal is to sell 3D Smart TVs as many as half of all TV sales in the Middle East and North America. Samsung Electronics Turkey and Saran Holdings, Turkish contents provider, cut an exclusive deal for smart contents provision.

삼성전자가 3D 스마트TV를 앞세워 중동에서 '스마트' 제품 1위 굳히기에 나섰다. 삼성전자는 올해 중동ㆍ북아프리카에서 판매하는 TV의 절반을 3D 스마트TV로 판매할 계획을 세우고 2012년형 신제품 출시와 함께 마케팅 활동을 적극 전개하고 현지 주요 컨텐츠 사업자와의 협력을 강화해 '스마트TV=삼성'이라는 공식을 확실하게 각인시킬 계획이다.
