Wellington – New Zealand’s Capital and Cultural Centre and One of Sam’s Exotic Travels
On my April 2006 trip to New Zealand, we flew in and out of Wellington so I felt obliged to take a few pictures before taking the ferry across to the South Island. This is the ONLY city we visited on the trip - spending the rest of the time enjoying the majestic nature of New Zealand's South Island.

In case you want to know, "Wellington (Te Whanganui-a-Tara or Poneke) is the capital of New Zealand, the country's second-largest urban area and the most populous national capital in Oceania. It located at the southern tip of the North Island in the geographical centre of the country."
