So, lots of folks get portraits done of family members. It has, for many generations, kept the struggling artist fed. I have never really been that interested in going that route, but folks have started coming to me with pictures of their pets and asking me to do portraits in the way I do them. It's fun. So this image here, of a young pup (a martyr, according to her owner) named after the artist Frida Khalo. In her hands, the kong and the medicine she is never without. Her "attributes", as it were.
