World President of Women's Ministries leads International Day of the Girl prayer walk around central London
On Monday 11th October, the World President of Women’s Ministries, Commissioner Rosalie Peddle, led a three-mile prayer walk around central London to mark the International Day of the Girl.

The group of walkers, comprised of 25 women and men who are committed to making gender equity a reality, stood in solidarity with the message that girls matter to God and to The Salvation Army.

Together they crossed five of London’s bridges, mirroring The Salvation Army’s five international zones. For each bridge crossed, the group shared in two prayers: one written by girls within the zone and one prayer for the girls from their zonal leader.
