A shot from within a beautiful valley surrounded with huge steep arctic mountains.
Standing on crystal clear ice allowing for awesome reflections. Again this was a shot/sequence done deliberately inbetween the biggest bursts of auroras as I did not want the auroras to dominate too much in the picture in total. I particularly enjoy the curvy shape of this rather slow, still majestic, auroras dancing over my head.
This is a shot from a scene I am consdidering including in my new aurora video I am working on.
I have been in a huge fight with myself for two days now weather to crop and go for a portrait shot using the stones alone with the ice and reflections. But I figured the mountains are what makes this valley, what makes this shot, and they put things into perspective. So here we go..
