    "Reflected Arcs"

The web is flowing over with pictures of spectacular auroras these days,
and I have thousands just from the last days, litterally speaking, and will
post later. But here I am posting a little different shot, beautiful auroras dancing
over arctic mountains at Senja, Northern Norway, reflected in a perfectly calm pond
    in the foreground.

The scene was dark due to no moon, and even if I lightened up the foreground slightly,
the image may appear dark due to downsizing on some uncalibrated screens.

This is my first post in some time on flickr, things have been very hectic, and still are. Sorry for being bad on checking and commenting on your pictures, I will catch up now!

    Canon EOS 5D Mark II + Nikon 14-24 2.8 @14mm, f/2.8

    Hope you like it,

    Best,
    Ole

PS! PLEASE PLEASE no flashy big group icons!! They will be deleted!

Real comments are always welcome, positive and negative, but PLEASE don't post any pointless impersonal fancy group logos with standardized comments! Comments with huge pictures/logos in it will be removed.

I will not be hurt if you give me critique, please be honest! :)

But please don't invite me to groups with the sole purpose of obligating to comment on 3 pictures etc. All such posts will be removed/deleted. Thank you for your understanding.

      Damn that's good!

I love the stars on the water and such a crisp finish to the image. I'm trying brother, it's my first winter in the arctic and I'm trying to get somewhere near your standards but jeez you make it hard for me with images this good!

I've been sharing your video with anybody I can persuade to watch it. Absolutely the most realistic, natural, breathtaking 4½ minutes of magic I've ever seen. Thank you for your efforts

The green reflection in water is even more intense! Beautiful colours. I've never seen it live but it must be a great spectacle. Great to see good photos.
