Not Alone

I chose to call this shot 'Not Alone' for three reasons.

First, in an almost religious context; when you get to experience something like this, you can't help but thinking that we as a race are not alone, somehing or somebody must be the reason for the creation of such overwhelming beauty, beyond the sun. You do get religious of watching something like this.

Secondly, the old abandonded house is alone, but with the aurora above it certainly is not. I know I would have felt a little alone next to this old house if nothing but darkness was surrounding me, so maybe the aurora was lightning up so I shouldn't feel like it.

Third; most commonly there's a single ray of white/purple aurora, but here there was two, one moving faster than the other, but both just as amazing.

Anyway, in this shot I was actually on my way back to the car, as we were to shift location. But again she showed up, and I just had to set up and shoot, and what a display. I could have wished for a more beautiful house in the foreground, but maybe there's a reason for everything, in this one making it obvious for me what to name the shot.

If I sound a little religious or far out describing this, that's because when I experience this, I am!
