A lesson learned from a kid

Here is the conversation:

Girl: Are you the photographer?

Me: yes

Girl: Do you want to come up here?

Me: maybe not, it is a bit too slipped because I have my camera

Girl: A true photographer should go to the most dangerous spot? Why you can not??

Me: Then I go..

It was very difficult to walk on the ice. Something is so simple for a kid to understand, but for an adult it is difficult for me at beginning. I feel shame after she told me what a true photographer should do.. I was worrying if my camera got damage, it costs more than a thousand dollars to get another one. So I can not think straight as that little kid do, but she is right, if I am a photographer, that is what a true photographer should do.

I found this one image, not super great shot, but I think the story worths more to say so... Sometimes in our life we always debate with the practical method or idealistic method, when we get older and older, we tend to not risk to try something..

Just a simple thought I like to share with all your guys.

I will be away for a long period of time, for answering some of people, I am not taking pictures of Olympic or working for the Olympic, but I will still be on the street finding the amazing moment when I have time, I will post it again.

Have a great summer everyone !!!
