Friends of Warriston Cemetery
Warriston Cemetery had its' first internment in 1843. Subsequently prominent professionals from all avenues were laid to rest here.

Until the last twelve months the cemetery had been left to nature for decades, and nature was winning.

Now, with the help of Edinburgh City Council, new charity Friends of Warriston, a group of volunteers including myself, are gradually clearing up the entire cemetery, to regenerate the Victorian Slendour that hides behind the ivy.
