Classes Without Walls 6/1/17
Sacred Heart University’s Isabelle Farrington College of Education (IFCOE) hosted the second annual Classes Without Walls on June 1, 2017, with participating schools from Trumbull and Bridgeport. Classes Without Walls provides the opportunity for students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades to communicate with students from a neighboring school district that has a different socioeconomic profile. The students learn about the culture of their partner in the neighboring district and explore the history of immigration in the United States. The program was launched by IFCOE Professors Randall Glading and Charles Britton. Photos by Tracy Deer-Mirek
