Bridge of Sighs, Venice
I still haven't picked up the camera since finishing my 366 Project, but I've been missing Flickr and wanted to upload something. So here is a shot from the archives, from my vacation to Italy and Paris in May 2012. This is the Bridge of Sighs, in Venice, so named because at least according to myth the view from this bridge was the last view of Venice convicted criminals saw before being imprisoned. This is actually the "back" side of the bridge, looking towards the Riva degli Schiavoni where all the tourists are gathered to photograph this landmark.
