Question: What do you use the acrylic for? Is there a color or texture that you can capture better in acrylic, or is it simply for drying time? Thanks. I've been working with both & wanting to combine.

I use 90% acrylics because Im just so used to them, and yeah the drying time is awesome..Teaching myself oils slowly, and combine doing base painting with acrylics and then finish with oils over it =I may start that technique!

Cool. Thanks. That's where I am at as well. Great with acrylics & slowly trying to move to oils.

With practice and time the switch over will be smooth=It just smacks of chemistry class balancing the mediums for desired effect:)
