Khan-e-Jahan Bahadur Zafar Jang Kokaltash's Tomb...

Khan-e-Jahan Bahadur zafar Jang Kokaltash was a noble of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir. He is reported to have died in 1697 and the tomb is assumed to have been constructed about the same time.

In February 1690, Himmat Khan ( son of Khan Jahan Bahadur Zafar jang Kokaltash, subahdar of Allahabad ) was appointed subahdar of Awadh and faujdar (military commander ) of Gorakhpur who held the charge of Basti (one of the districts of Uttar Pradesh, India ) and adjoining districts for a long time.
