Nights in Tokyo

    Photo: Toyko from Park Hyatt

I am pretty sure if my memory serves me, that this photo was taken from the Toyko Park Hyatt shortly after I got engaged (don't worry, I'm not one of thoese richies who can afford to stay at a place like It was a gorgeous view and the city was lit up like a christmas tree. The one thing that I have always loved when going to the New York Bar in the Tokyo Park Hyatt is seeing all the flashing red lights atop all the buildings around. There's just something calming about it. Maybe because it is just so

I do have to recommend that if you are ever in Tokyo, or live in Tokyo, to go have a beer and a pizza in the New York bar at least once, and sit right by the window while the live Jazz band plays beside you. It's amazing. I'm sure all you Tokyoites out there have even better places to go, and I would love to hear about them. I just love the view of Tokyo at Night.

Let me know where you like to go for a nice night out in Tokyo.

YOu got yourself some night time city scape going on there - it will take more than a few rechargeable batteries to keep that lot going.

Ooooh I love this! This is what I wanted to see my last night in Tokyo! I didn't know where to go and I was actually really sick that night...feverish and flu or something, staggering around all afternoon. I ended up going into the Mitsui building and up to the top there. That was a really nice view, but it was IN the business district so I could look AT the business district skyline from in there.

This is as good as it gets for me

Which is why I'm loving your photo so much!!!
