Steptoe Butte Wild Flower Explosion, Palouse

Steptoe Butte State Park, Washington. Lupine and Balsam Root Arrow Leaf wild flowers cover the steep butte over looking the Palouse at sunset.

If your looking for a great Palouse workshop check out Kevin McNeal and Adrian Klein's workshops. You'll learn a lot and have a great time. Also check out Chip Phillips one on one workshops.

This is the last 10 minutes of sunset light on the butte. Flowers are spectacular but won't last long. The Balsam Root is fading fast. But wild Geraniums will be up soon. Some areas already have them blooming along with wild iris.
