Slot canyons along the Spooky Gulch Trail in Grand Staircase Escalante, Utah. At one point, the slots were barely two feet wide. The light above barely shining through made it very spooky indeed, but, the tightness was no worries for us.

Slot canyons are formed by rushing water, which in turn erode the rock/stone away. About a week before we were here, flash floods ripped through Escalante. These canyons have been formed over time, tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of years. Our time here was just but a word on a page of a book with millions of chapters.
