Carbon River Glacier

The Carbon Glacier is the lowest in altitude in the lower 48 states. It reaches down to about 3,300 feet above sea level at its extremity. At the time I took this photo, there were rockfalls and a steady flow of water from the glacier's tip, from whence flows the Carbon River.
