It may be captured often, but I'll never tire of this view! Dusk shot of the Painted Ladies from Alamo Square, San Francisco.

I've taken this photo before but you are right, shooting at Dusk is an excellent time to capture the Painted Ladies.

I've always wondered if this place is as cool as it looks in photos. Is it? This is one of the best photos I've seen of the painted ladies.

I've so many pics of this much-photographed scene, but few as effective as this one. Wonderful light!

@Cary Scott: I think the view there is even better in person because you get the context of the park from which the shot is taken and other surrounding buildings around the square which are interesting. It can be hard to get a shot there without tourists in it. The night I took this photo it was very cold and windy (as many nights are in SF!) so there were few people around. The scene is amazing at dusk, not so much once the sky is dark and the painted ladies can't be seen.

@RobW: Thank you very much for your comment!

i like this point of view from slightly higher up. you've pretty well hidden the annoying parked cars on the street that invariably will be in the shot.

very nicely captured. thanks for sharing. cheers.
