January 2nd 2013. Beach Tour - La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Belmont Park, Sunset Cliffs. We started our day in La Jolla with it's seals, pelicans, and even some turquoise water. Heading south we stopped in Pacific beach for lunch at the Pacific Beach Bar & Grill then stopped into the Sugar & Scribe bakery for a pie and a deadly little cupcake for later. Further south we went to Belmont Park at Mission Beach and checked out the shops, rides, arcade & beach then headed down to Sunset Cliffs where we were about an hour early for the sunset. For all the surfers I saw, I saw very few actually surfing and didn't manage to catch a picture of any of them. We met Doug & Spring for supped at K-Pasta (www.yelp.ca/biz/k-pasta-imperial-beach) where we had a great meal of fresh made pasta & sauces.
